HOPE at EASN – Feijia

Assessing future aircraft propulsion also means understanding its environmental impact, including both CO2 and non-CO2 effects.

At the EASN – European Aerospace Science Network 16th International Conference in Toulouse, Feijia Yin from Delft University of Technology presented “Environmental impact of a hydrogen-optimised multi-fuel propulsion system”, sharing HOPE’s work in this area.

The session, led by Georgios Bampanis from CINEA – European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency, brought together contributions from HOPE, UNIC, A4Climate, PACIFIC and ESCAPE. Topics ranged from #aircraftemission measurements to particulate matter, #contrailformation and #climateimpact assessment.

The discussion provided an opportunity to connect propulsion research with advances in measuring and predicting aviation’s environmental effects, supporting a broader assessment of future technologies.

Thank you to the speakers and participants for sharing their work and perspectives.
