Over the past couple of months, WP1 has been working on finalizing the HOPE propulsion technology bricks for subsequent aircraft studies. In this context, the final ducted BLI design and performance were defined and preliminary multi-fuel aircraft studies were carried out. The multi-fuel aircraft in HOPE will be designed so that a typical mission range of 800โ1,000 nautical miles can be flown using only hydrogen. Moving forward, WP1 will assess different integration and combination options of the HOPE propulsion technologies at an aircraft integrated level.
